Definition
Spiritual means relating to the human spirit, soul, or inner life, not to material things. Supernatural, by contrast, means operating outside or beyond the known laws of nature, often involving ghosts, miracles, or paranormal events. Spiritual focuses on inner meaning, faith, and personal connection to the sacred. Supernatural focuses on forces that break physical laws.
What it describes
After a series of personal losses, a man feels empty. Material success no longer satisfies him. He begins to meditate, read sacred texts, and spend time in nature. He does not change his religion, but he feels a deep inner connection to something larger than himself. This new awareness brings him peace. What kind of journey is he on?
